This is an early watercolor painting. One of the first in my watercolor class at Baylor in the early 80's These hiking boots saw me through many backpacking trips from Aspen, Colorado and Oklahoma to the Grand Canyon. All of the trips were memorable, but backpacking the complete Southern Rim of the Grand Canyon with five other girlfriends was an amazing and unforgettable experience.
